| Onyx is a 5yr .old 15.2H, true Black, Pinto/Paint, Black, minimal white, Stallion. He is the first son out of the beautiful Black and White Overo stallion "Magnolia Pere". His Dam is,"Dulcinea", a Sorrel and White Overo, an own daughter of "Mason Dixon", an APHA Champion, Superior Hunter Under Saddle, Superior Western Pleasure, Superior Trail, Superior Halter with a Performance Versatility and Superior All Around Horse and Granddaughter to Mardelle Dixon, one of the founding sires of the Paint Horse Association. On his sires side, there are only 3 Paint Overo Horses, with all the rest, Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds (No Impressive bloodlines), with good records in Halter, Performance and Racing. |
| Onyx has a Register of Merit in Halter, both Pinto and Paint and a Register Of Excellence in Pinto (175 points) in Halter. He also has won the honor of Champion Of Champions Halter in PtHA. |
| He has massive muscle and is a stout Horse with a nice head and neck. He moves well and has a great attitude. He lost a year of showing due to an eye injury but will be shown this year Under Saddle and Pleasure Driving. |
